Finola Hughes as Patty
Finola Hughes (born 29 October 1960 in London, England of Irish and Italian extraction) is a British actress who is best known for her portrayal of Anna Devane on the soap operas General Hospital and All My Children, and her portrayal of Anna Devane's twin sister, Dr. Alexandra Devane Marick, on All My Children.
Hughes also appeared on the sitcom Blossom, and as the X-Men character Emma Frost in the 1996 TV movie Generation X. She was also a frequent guest star on the television series Charmed playing The Charmed Ones' mother, Patricia Halliwell.
Hughes starred in the 1983 John Travolta film Staying Alive, a rather disappointing sequel to Saturday Night Fever.
Married to Russell Young since 1992, Hughes is the mother of two sons, Dylan Joseph and Cash Justice. She left All My Children in 2003. She can currently be seen on the on The Style Network as the host of the makeover show, How Do I Look?

As with Piper, Patty's power was the ability to stop time. When she was pregnant with Phoebe, however, Patty experienced premonitions - Phoebe's power.
Work: She worked at Buddies as a waitress.
As with all the Halliwell women, Patty was unlucky in love. Her first and only marriage was to Victor Bennett, the father of Prue, Piper, and Phoebe. This marriage lasted for six or seven years, but the witchy lively hood of the family put a strain on their marriage. Victor and Patty soon divorced after a disagreement over how their children's powers should be handled - Victor wanted them bound so they could live happy, carefree childhoods, while Patty wanted them to be brought up as witches, as she was.
After the divorce, Patty's relationship with her Whitelighter, Sam, grew deeper and their love created a child, Paige. This relationship was strictly forbidden by the Elders, and the child - a fourth Charmed One - was hidden, despite Patty's worry over this.
Patty died at the Skylark Camp - a Summer camp for children. She discovered a water demon killing in the lake there, and took it upon herself to destroy it. However, she died trying, drowned from the inside by the demon. Years later, the Charmed Ones encountered and destroyed this demon, avenging their mother's death.
